Texas Fishing Prime Times Calendar

Want to catch more fish and be productive when you take the time to go fishing?  Follow this calendar and your successful outings may increase.  Keep in mind, this is NOT a guarantee, but these calendars take into consideration the moon and its effect on the feeding cycles of fish.  In addition the days marked with a sun logo are great times to fish at sunrise or sunset.  The best part is, they really work! Read what others say about my calendars.  Remember, ANY time is a good time to fish.  However, if you want to increase your odds of catching fish, follow the calendar for a month and see what happens!

Fish, game and all wildlife feed in cycles that are determined by the moon's location relative to the earth The cycle feeding time listed on the calendar above is the PRIME TIME to start each day. The NEXT PRIME feeding time (not listed on the calendar) will come 12 1/2 hours latter.

The Major Feeding Periods are posted on the Calendar for the Central Time Zone at the 96 degree longitude along the Texas Gulf Coast.

If you are fishing WEST of the 96 degree longitude in the Central Times Zone, ADD 4 MINUTES for each degree West of 96 and if you are fishing EAST of the 96 degree longitude, SUBTRACT 4 MINUTES for each degree East of 96.

The Major Feeding Periods are in 3 hour intervals in order to make sure that we are all fishing during those periods of most activity during normal weather and water conditions. Click to determine the QUICK & EASY MAJOR & MINOR TIMES for any place in U.S.

You can use these times as a starting point for Meridian 81 degrees, 96 degrees, 111 degrees and 126 degrees.
